The Cracow Branch of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology is located in the Old Town of Cracow, 17 Slawkowska Street. This convenient location in the center of the city, in the vicinity of the Main Train Station and the Bus Station, makes it easily accesible for visitors. City bus and tram transportation allows  access to the Institute from practically every part of the city.

The Archaeological Station at Igolomia can be reached from the center of Cracow by city express bus line and trams Nos. 4 and 15 towards the center of Nowa Huta, followed by private buses towards Proszowice and Nowe Brzesko.
